 | | My neighbor is a girl scout leader for a group of younger scouts (brownies I think) I have boys - I don't know the designations, and she needed an ongoing craft idea for the little ones.
We came up with a scrapbook of the year of scouting activities. So, I made this using chipboard and cs for the front and back cover.
In the oval, she will write the girl's name in calligraphy and then the girls will be able to decorate the front if they would like. Once a month they will scrap a page or two of activities from the previous month, and at the end of the year they will have the entire scrapbook.
I used my CB, borders folder and my butterfly die cut. Stickles on the body of the butterfly and all of the ribbon came from Michaels, on clearance. There is a variety of ribbon used so each book is a little different. I set eyelets one inch from the top and bottom and then we will add white cardstock pages to the book which the girls will be able to stamp and decorate.
The book measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 allowing for a nice size photo or a variety of smaller photos.
