This is basically a CASE of Stamp&Cars lovely floating image card: http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.c...php?photo=92597 AND I've been wanting to use Tempting Turqoise and Close to Cocoa together ever since I saw this gorgeous card by ConnorandJacob'sMom: http://gallery.splitcoaststampers.c...php?photo=97514 I started working on this before the SU! Retirement List came out, and then I realized all the stamps I used are retiring! After coloring the flowers, I tried the xyron & dryer sheet with DD glitter, but the image was too fuzzy. So, I covered it with Versamark and embossed with clear EP and voila! - you could see the image again. I liked the effect, kind of like a bumpy surfaced, sparkly tile - one of those happy accidents, I guess. Here on the inside of the card I used masking to create a "faux layer" with the Filigree stamp & sponging so there was still a space to sign the card. This is for my niece who will soon turn 20. She's somewhat of a Tomboy, so I had fun making a girly style card for her this time.

Oh, I see! That's clever how you stamped the frame on the inside of the card with the greeting positioned just right...it's like magic when you open the card and the main image floats away. Now I'll have to try this! Boy, you sure put everything together perfectly!
