Here is my submission for the combined Color Challenge CC182 (monochromatic) and Sketch Challenge SC192 for this week. I think CAS (Clean and Simple) is an appropriate description, too, since there is no coloring at all.
Stamps: flowers - Anna Griffin (All Night Media), flourish - Autumn Leaves, and sentiment - (MSE) My Sentiment Exactly
Inks: Creamy Brown & Chestnut Roan - ColorBox Fluid Chalk
Cardstock: base is parchment (unknown maker), dark and light brown - Bazzill, beige w/light speckles used for stamped image - unknown, and DP - unknown
The image was stamped with Creamy Brown and the sentiment with Chestnut Roan. I drew a gold border around the image, then used the Scor-Pal to emboss using the gold lines as a guide. When you are through the frame is actually debossed on the front, so then I turned it over and embossed again with the Scor-Pal using the embossed lines as a guide. When I was finished the front had a raised embossed border with gold. It doesn't show up on the picture but trust me it's there and IRL looks elegant. I stamped the bottom light brown panel with the flourish stamp in Creamy Brown. That's it! Hope you like it and thanks for looking.
