Unfortunately I needed a sympathy card for a friend who just lost her husband unexpectedly. He was 48 and they have 4 children 15 and under. I used watercolor and cracked glass techniques, but if I could unstick my main image, I would drop it a little lower. I may add a tiny scallopped edge from a nestie to drop it a bit.

This is such a beautiful card! I love how you colored the tree - so soft and soothing! I wish we never needed sympathy cards, especially for the reason you mentioned, but I am sure this will bring your friend some comfort during this very difficult time.
