Tore and inked the edges of handmade double happiness oriental paper, then adhered onto (Pale Plum?) SU c/s with rubber cement, then tore and inked the diagonal edge of the c/s, too. Created my own patterned paper by stamping Asian motifs (from Melanie Sage) in pink chalk ink onto gold shiny cardstock from Ginna S. (see detail in my gallery). Adhered it to wrap around the back of the card to make a modified gatefold (i.e., the right hand flap). Stamped the heart from Gentler Times onto same shiny gold cardstock, and heat-embossed it with clear EP before cutting out with Fiskars decorative-edged scissors. Stamped another GT heart, but with pink ink onto pink c/s, and heat-embossed it with clear EP before trimming more closely than the gold heart (see detail in my gallery). Stamped Fiskars Clear Stamps Sentiment with chalk ink onto mirror-gold c/s scrap, and heat-embossed with clear EP. Adhered the sentiment to the right flap only, so the left side of the sentiment would freely overlap the left flap of the card and hold it closed (see detail in my gallery). Adhered hearts to card exterior, and decorated interior.
If you have the time and inclination, see detail photos in my gallery.
Thanks for looking,
