This was the most difficult card I have EVER made! That image is NOT easy to work with (well, today anyway). The pain it took to get this card to look anything close to nice was beyond difficult. I don't even know if I like it anymore, or if it looks good. Ever get those cards?
This is for the verve Meet the Verve Diva. I was suppose to use something unused or old. I hadn't used this wolf stamp before (I don't know if I will again ;) ) the ribbon was new and the big brads are old. Whew... it's done.
I've had a few questions on how I did this:
Very easy! You need glossy white paper because the paper helps the colors blend together better (but colors do fade more with glossy rather than whisper white) I cut a hole is some thinner cardstock and applied to my paper with a removable adhesive. I made spots with my red riding hood red and tangerine tango and lined those up taped them down and ran my brayer over top. Once the brayer is inked fairly evenly all the way around (sort of have to bounce the brayer alot) then I run it over the paper back and forth in sort of W action to make the colors blend. Keep on doing it until you get the look you want. Remove cardstock sun. Take the hole of your cardstock sun from the other paper and place it over the hole white sun on the brayered paper. Sponge in some yellow, then around the edges sponge in circles small amounts of tangerine tango. Stamp image in staz on. Viola! Done! Any more questions... feel free to PM me

Well... this was WAY worth the effort! It turned out fabulous. The colors, the brayered layer, the wolf and layout -all perfect! Thanks for playing along, hugs,

This has to be one of the very most spectacular cards I've seen! I can imagine it was difficult but it is really gorgeous.
The colors just pop. And the brads on the little circles are awesome. I love that ribbon in this card too. I think I have one very similar in my drawer and I've never been able to find a match for it. Works here. AWESOME JOB!!!!!! you are never going to find such gorgeous work at Hallmark. Take a bow on this one!!!

Absolutely stunning and eye pleasing. If this one gave you some grief, it was worth it for those of us who get the pleasure and honor to view or copy it. Fabulous work!!!
