Hi! This card was made for today's Technique Lovers Challenge: Black Magic.
Speedy the Cat LOVEs this coffee set...He CONTINUES to put it in the sink! I swear, that Cat wants me to either give him coffee, or stamp until my fingers get numb! LOL!
The image was stamped onto black card stock with White Craft ink. (I used a heat tool to dry the ink.) Next, the image was colored in using Colored Pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits. The trick is to DIP the tips of the pencils into the Odorless Mineral Spirits. This softens the tip and allows smooth coloring. ( I stamped 2 images and cut and layered them!)
The sentiment is layered with SU! punches.
the primas were sponged with classic inks.
I added dots with markers and an Inkssentials pen.

Good morning Faith, your card is too gorgeous for words today. I love the deep colors you've achieved with this technique and thanks for the tip about layering the colors. I so love the dp on this card and of course the beautiful flower treatment. I also really like the way you did black dots with white centres on the dp, nice effect.

Pretty! I have nothing but pencils...oh my god, I just realized that there hasn't been a reason to have baby oil on hand in years. Does this mean I have to get dressed and leave the house?
