Messing around and trying to use up various scraps. Stamped the deer image on a scrap of water color paper and colored with markers. Sponged Vintage Photo around the edge. Stamped pines with Old Olive randomly on scrap of light green CS and swiped Old Olive to give it some texture. Mounted the image off center onto the light green panel and then mounted that unit with brads on brown CS. The card base is Hunter Green. Used a piercing technique I learned from Michelle Zindorf and pierced holes with a push pin and then connected the dots with a silver marker. Tied on a left over piece of Christmas ribbon

Great card! Background really accents the deer, and your faux stitching is perfect - I thought you had really sewed this until I read that you drew it on with a silver marker!

Beautiful 'man card' sistah! I love this majestic deer- he is so tough looking. Your coloring is great. (I can't use those dang markers!) Maybe I need a class. Maybe next year....hummm....
