I did this card for Sharon Johnson's Stamp Simply #50 challenge. Blogs at Splitcoaststampers Sharon's challenge this week is highlighting the work of
Julie Koerber who is Out to Impress –http://outtoimpress.blogspot.com/200...t-hot-hot.html. The color red is to be the main focus of the project. I have to admit that I am not totally sure what Stamping Simply means. Sharon has such a gorgeous, elegant style and I never really think of anything she does as simple. But I did try to do a project that really focused on a simple stamped and colored image that could totally speak for itself without lots of additional stamped images or over done embellishments. I created a frame with Papertrey Poppy and Kiwi, dry embossed with a CB folder, and attached a twill knot. I sure hope that Sharon feels this qualifies for her wonderful challenge. I had lots of fun creating this simple yet colorful project.
