Made this for the LSC183 challenge today. Something old was the star studded stamps, something new was the star from Christmas Classics, something borrowed was inspiration from this card of Mudflapmama's: Gold Near and Far by mudflapmamma at Splitcoaststampers
Something blue is the navy cardstock. I would like to say this is the first card I started, but it is probably the 5th and I started really late in the day, anyway. I was thinking maybe I would have to pass on this challenge, but I kept starting over. I got so flustered with this that I just realized I forgot to put on the gold cording. I found that I am not an embosser, even with the embossing buddy, the EP still sticks to my card. If you have any suggestions on how to avoid that, let me know. In the meantime, I don't think I want to emboss for a while.

I am sorry this made you flustered....it really is so pretty with all the gold stars! I am with you on the embossing. Mine always makes mess...you're not alone!

WOW, Shirt! This is so rich and classy and gorgeous!
I know embossing on the darker cs can be frustrating. I always put a heavy coating of embossing buddy powder all over the cs to help prevent the spotting outside of where I want it. I then take a small paintbrush to remove any stray embossing powder that insists upon sticking to my cs before I heat set it. After I've embossed, I wipe off the excess embossing buddy powder remnants. Hope that helps.
