I'm not sure. The tile had a coat of something on it and I tried to sand it beforehand but still didn't work out. It looked fine at first but after it was dry it looked like this. I'm redoing it for the bride because I feel really bad about it. As soon as I redo it, I'll upload the new one. I bought some nice Italian tiles. This one was a "cheapie" tile. Maybe that has something to do with it?
