This is my second go at the faux dry embossing for today's TLC. The desk is littered with various less successful combinations and a couple of successful but less accurately stamped tries!!
Anyway, for this one I used a Penny Black stamp with Brilliance White and then with ColorBox Chalk Blue. Both card layers have the corners rounded, and I added small gold brads. The card base is a linen-effect white card, stamped with French Flair in ColorBox Pigment Pistachio. I must admit, after I'd done the Dandy image I hadn't a clue where to go colourwise, so for the first time ever I used an online colour-picker to help! I had got out more polka dot ribbon in green, but in the end I used this lovely wide ribbon from Frantic Stamper and attached it with another gold brad. The sentiment is from Just Riveting, and I added an extra little swallow popped up for interest.

I absolutely LOVE this color combination! You aren't the only one who has to try things a few times before you're happy with the results...but I'm glad you kept trying because this is a fabulous example of this technique.
