This is for a dear friend, Linda, who surprised me by driving the 1 ½ hours to show up at the hospital yesterday just to sit with me while my hubby had surgery. She stayed until we left last night around 9pm. Aren’t those the best kind of friends? She’s such a blessing in my life.
I have had the same bottle of flocking for years and seem to only pull it out during challenges. I was almost done with the card and remember I had the Accents & Elements felt flowers that would go splendidly so I popped a few of them on here as another flocked embellishment.
Thanks for hosting a fun challenge!

Bwahahahaha, I opened this card and thought........Kelly is really thinking of her friends. Linda is indeed a special friend. It is always nice to have someone helping with the wait of a surgery. Obviously you mean a lot to Linda too, she is going to love this card.
BTW, you and your sewing maching also have an awesome relationship! I wish I could sew on cards like you do.

What a lovely reason to make a card, and a fabulous card at that! Olive and blue is one of my favorite color combos. All the details on this card are wonderful. I love the flowers and all the stitching! Thanks so much for playing in my challenge! Wishing your husband a speedy recovery.
