Well....this wasn't exactly how I wanted my Eiffel Tower to turn out...and don't look close...I made my stripes on the flag wrong...I think this Eiffel Tower is in the Netherlands and not France!!!!!...but I LOVE Madeline....maybe it's the red hair and the spunky attitude..."and to the tiger in the zoo, Madeline just said POOH POOH!"
I actually tried to find my original copy, but I think I had to hide it from my girls since it was a wee bit tattered, and they are voracious Madeline lovers as well!!
Thanks SO MUCH Jacqueline for this super FUN challenge...I think I may be back with another "New" favorite kids' book since there are so many now that I love reading with Eva and Claire...kisses and hugs!

Kelly - I love that you drew your own Eiffel Tower...and maybe it was windy in France this day so the flag is just flying sideways...it COULD happen. I love this card and think you did a fantastic job. Thanks for playing in my challenge.

This is a fabulous recreation of the book cover. One glance and you immediately know what it is. I should have hidden a few books as well . . . hmmm. Love it!

Eva and Claire - two of the most gorgeous little girls in all of Avon, NY! How sweet you had issues with trying to find your original because you had to hide it. This card is precious. And me, you think I would have ever noticed the wrong flag? It's not the wrong flag! It's just a different country, that's all. fabulous, fabulous card, Avon Lady! I love it.

Kelly, wasn't this a hard challenge to just pick one card to do. I loved my Madeline books. I have all of the series. Your explanation about the flag made me smile. I think your tower card is fabulous. I can so see the Madeline influence!!

Kelly, I LOVE your interpretation of Madeline! I, too, am geographically challenged. For all I know, the Eiffel Tower is in Spain! LOL Great job, Missy!

Oh, now this is just TOO cute! You did an awesome job sketching, and the images you paired with your sketch are perfect! SO fun!
This reminds me of taking my son to the summer movies at the theatre to see Madeline in a movie! Our homeschool group would all go together for cheap admission, popcorn, cokes, and lots of candy. And he's 14 now! I love how each card is triggering some fun memories!
