The challenge was to use a stamp set you haven't had out in a while and a coloring technique you don't use often. I've had this set for a long time. I bought it from a friend and stuck it in my stamp drawer.
I haven't used my water color crayons in a long time. I tend to favor coloring with re-inkers or ink pads. The water color crayons just don't have the zing of the re-inkers! Anyway - I colored this image with water color crayons and used my blender pen on it. I dipped the edges of my image in Tim Holtz Vintage Phote distress embossing powder - not really my fav beacuse it's dull and not shiny. It's hard to tell when it's set. I used a ruler and a versa pen to put the stripe on the top and botton of the card in the same embossing powder. I added crystal effects to some of the fruits/vegs to add a little shine.
One more thing - I used my SU water color paper - which I totally hoard! Why.... I don't know... I guess it's special? Who knows? I need to break free and use up all the good stuff!!
Thanks for looking!

This is wonderful, Cerinda....especially knowing you did it with WCC. You got lots of rich color with them. I am going to buy you several packs of SU WC paper so you have no excuse to hoard it.
