This is a real simple card with a big message to my son - he was recently injured in a bicycle accident and life flighted to the hospital - luckily, it was his arm and not his neck!! He undergoes his 4th surgery on his arm today - will be off work for up to a year and is facing multiple surgeries to fix his forearm - NO MORE EVIL KNIEVEL!!! A prayer would help!
As for using something old - well this is a 2002 SU set called Simply Summer and the Better sentiment is a 2001 SU set, Simple Sayings.
ETA: 11:46. a.m. - Surgery is over and unfortunately, the muscle swelling has not gone down, next surgery is with the Plastic Surgeon - at least another week in the hospital - very disappointing and prayers requested. But, again, thanks to God, it wasn't his neck or spine.

Vicky, I am so sorry about the accident your son was in. How do I say this w/o getting threatening emails from everywhere : I HATE MOTOCYCLES and ATV's. We refer to them here at the hospital as Donor Cycles. My dh has a cousin that had a really bad accident along with his wife who did not make it. He lost a leg and then broke that prosthesis in another cycle wreck. Go figure.

Vicki: It just breaks a mother's heart when her child gets hurt - no matter how old he or she is. I think your card says it all is a great way! I will keep you all in my prayers!

Such a worry. Your card is perfect for him, Thankfully he has a great Mom to help him thru the process of healing. ''Once a Mom always a Mom'' --Right?. My youngest son (37) has MS. So I am constantly praying and encouraging him. Take care, Vicky.

Praying for your son's recovery!! If he inherited your wonderful sense of humor, he will sail through this year (without the bike, of course) and return to the life he loves healed and renewed.
