I quickly browsed through the latest copy of Take Ten magazine last evenin and really enjoyed seeing so much of Kim Hughes' work. They did a feature article with her using the "Kissing" technique, and I just loved how she did one card with this bird image and some swirls, so I decided to give it a try last night and incorporate some torn Double Mates cardstock for yesterday's Ways to Use it Challenge.
This card is a little different from my usual style, so I'd love to know what you think!

I purposely DIDN't look at your other cards before commenting. I love the colors and the DP you chose. Love the off centered oval placement with the ribbon and brads to finish it off. Looks slightly vintage, with the splash of soft pink to modernize it ... I love it ... NOW, off to look at your usual style ;)
... I'm back .... Not so different from your usual stuff that this stands out awkwardly at all. I love your cards - You do very nice work!
