To make up for all the cutting in paper-piecing my boat for my first card for this WT challenge, I didn't use scissors AT ALL for this card.
I punched large and small ovals from a scrap of acetate and used those as templates for the daisy. I painted around them with an aqua-painter and then tore them. The yellow centre is regular tissue paper, the white petals are a hand-made Japanese paper. The leaves and stem I drew free-hand using the waterbrush, on mulberry paper as I was clean out of green tissue. They're mounted up on dark green mulberry paper, and I layered the whole thing onto an Indian cotton card base. I stitched around the edges with some dark green hemp.

I am the lucky recipient of this card. I love, love, love it. The torn edges are fabulous. I love the stiching! The background paper is wonderful. Thank you so much Sabrina!!!
