I got this image from a PIF swap ... Thank you! Stacy.
She stamped this with white (craft?) ink on black cardstock ... to see what I'm talking about, click on Stacy's Gallery for a peek. She's got some fabulous cards.
Not much I could change, except the colors of the flowers which I used Prismas & gamsol to smooth the colors in. I did add the sponged moon with mustard ink (but you couldn't see) then chalk (but this was too bright) so I toned it down with some more mustard using circular sweeps with the little SU sponge daubers. Not sure how, but there's a little 'extra' crescent thing going on, but thought it looked kinda cool, so left it.
I mounted onto plum then saffron, then 5x7 premade card (This image is HUGE, by the way). Popped a sentiment onto plum & saffron then used black brads on the sentiment & yellow on the image finishing off with some black faux stitched ribbon courtesy of Hobby Lobby.
Thanks, Stacy, for the PIF'd image and the idea ... and the darn-near copy. Obviously I loved your idea enough to attemt to replicate it.
Thanks for looking.
