Hello, this is a tin I decorated for my Nephew who is going off to University in Sept.
The outside of the can is covered with black handmade paper that, to me, looks like leather.
I used Melanie's 'Little Tee's' set which can be found at Ginak, to make the t'shirt. I stamped it in black onto white, cut the sleeves to 3/4 length, and shorted the bottom so it would fit in the window.
The sentiment is computer generated, layered on real red, and then it's all attached to the black bp.
On the underside of the lid I attached a magnetic strip, to hold safety pins or whatever will stick!
The 2 tread holders are the round tab punch, with stitch lines along the edges & a slit in the top to hold the end of the thread from unraveling.
The little booklet has felt inside to hold sewing needles & pins. The band velcros shut.
This is a list of some of the contents!

This is awesome! I have a son heading off to campus on Thursday . . . it may have to be mailed, since I don't think I could get it done by then, but this is a terrific idea. TFS!!!
