This is my submission for WT179. We were to use Copics on our card. Fortunately I did have a few so I could play! I consider myself terrible with markers... love my prisma pencils and gamsol!!! But this morning I watched a few You Tube videos and decided to try again on the card for my DH (today is our 37th anniversary. Yesterday's card turned out too Christmassy, but I wanted to use these two birds so...today's attempt). I stamped my love birds in Archival Black Ink and colored with Copics. I think I learned a little bit this morning. It takes LOTS of practice!!!
I used lots of layers on this square card. Stamped the sentiment and matted both stamped panels, attached the hardware and I'm calling this one done. I've been messin with it too long! Now I need to cook the man a good meal! LOL!
The bird panel is up on dimensionals.
The hardware is attached with SU! black twine, and the heart charm is attached with SU! red twine. Hope this one is masculine enough!
Thanks for looking and thanks everyone for your anniversary wishes yesterday! I just love everyone here on SCS! You all are such an encouragement to me as I journey down this road of learning this art!

First and foremost, may I say "Happy Anniversary"! 37 years is a long time to live with the same man, lol. I should know, I've been with mine 47!!! Secondly and most important, this card is awesome!!! The lovebirds are adorable and your coloring is perfect. Love the charm, too!!!

I LOVE this card, Grace. this one is much more masculine! I really like the bg, and the addition of the hardware with the black cord! Congrats to you and DH!!
