This is for sketch challenge 189. Great sketch, since I hate to cover up my DP. Tater, aka Phyllis, gave me a few sheets of this DP from a slab of oriental paper. I'm so not into oriental, but this piece just jumped out of my blue drawer earlier today and the little bird gave a tweet, so here this is.
I used Royal Blue pigment ink from Stampabilities, stamped twice using the thingamajig to get it dark enough. Then I embossed it with Stampendous PEARLuster Sapphire Opaque EP. It is stamped directly onto the DP, as you can probably see. After I roughed it up a bit, I saw that the inner core paper was white, so I had to use Night of Navy to distress it and cover up the white stuff.
Then it just HAD TO HAVE dewdrops as a finishing touch. TFL
