I altered this cigar box as a present for my Mom - I will fill it will cards for her to use. Made using 'victorian leaves backrounder' from CHF stamped to fill up several sheets of cardstock, then cut to fit the sides - inside and out and the inside bottom. I used a masterboard that I played with awhile back using mostly CHF stamps and the ladies are Hero Arts. I used the masterboard for the top, inside top flap and the focal image. All the cardstock was glued/sealed with mod podge. I also used a silver krylon pen to edge 2 of the top panels and to alter the brads on the corners, an old broken necklace from a garage sale and a vintage piece of trim on the front.

I love how you used the old necklace! I am a garage sale nut and am always lookin' for a great find so I have unique embellishments to incorporate into my cards! Your taste is divine! I used to make cards for my mother too (that is actually the reason I started stamping). She is no longer living now but it's nice to hear of some one else sharing their love of staming with their Mom! Keep up the great work and give your mom a big hug for me! TFS
