Oh my, I think I designed this card faster than I was able to think of a suitable title.. and I finally just gave up.
I'm not sure what this technique is called but I stamped in white craft ink then used a cotton ball to sponge on chalks. I used multiple colors of chalk until I liked the effect. White chalk is also around the edges of the top layer of night of navy.
The flowers are also highlighted with metallic art pencils which gives a neat sheen and dimension from certain angles. The navy piece is then stamped with French Script in versamark which I'm so pleased with- it actually removes some of the chalk so the script shows up on the flowers themselves. The white rub-ons are from the SU set called Happiness from SAB '08. The ribbon is an old wide ivory organdy that SU retired a while back unfortunately. The edges of the vanilla piece are distressed with the cutter kit, then there is a kiwi layer. Hope you like it! TFL!
