I used the inked side of my image, just 'cause I like the way it looks that way.
The Faux Suede is made by taping two pieces (same size) of card stock together. Worry the corners until the paper starts to split apart. Peel it off. If the tape doesn't become a problem, you will have 4 pieces of faux suede when you are finished peeling. You can do this without taping the pieces together, but I find it easier to do with the tape. Also, dark cardstock tends to do better than lighter colors.
