This is my submission for IC140. Check out the home page to see the gorgeous Asian table setting we were to draw our inspiration from.
This card is one of those that didn't go exactly as planned... and I'm not sure how I feel about it, but here it is.
I stamped my main image in VersaMark then Cranberry Crisp. I heat embossed in clear. I lightly painted a shadow bg with twinkling H2O's... not sure you can see the sparkle in that though. I stamped the Soft Sky layer in clear using a Raindrops on Roses stamp. I stamped soft sky on the dp using a stamp from Embrace Life. I cut the butterfly with a die cut in the CB and used a texture ef on it, then painted it with the same shade of Twinklin H2O's. Used Cranberry Crisp ribbon, very vanilla for the card base and image panel. I might paint the whole image panel with the twinkling H2O's... not sure this shadow worked as I had pictured.
Thanks for looking! Have a great weekend!

I love the textured butterfly, and the background paper with the lines really reminds me of quilted place mats, so for me it really ties in with the place settings :-).
