This is my second attempt at this sketch. I really like it but...it's not my day.
First attempt was something for my DH to use as a wedding card. He liked the background but not the stamped image. Fortunately the stamped image wasn't stuck down, so I just added another image and it will be fine for an everyday card, but as it's plan B I am not happy with it and won't post it up.
This one, the colours are not me at all, I'm not into those soft pinks and pastels. But I thought if I stamped the image in those colours it would go well with the Euphoria papers.
So, it's stamped using ColorBox Pigments in pastels.
The background papers are all Basic Grey Euphoria. I put little dots around the pink matt layer with a clear Sakura Stardust pen. I added rows of beads along the edges of the triangles, and made little wire swirls for a bit of an accent. I stuck a little dragonfly in the top corner. I knew I'd got beads yesterday that were lovely pinks - and after I stuck it, I realised it was the wrong dragonfly, it was one I'd made in work last week. And I spilt glue all over my mat, some of the card and my trousers - just missed the camera. It's just not my day...so here is my feeble offering, such as it is.

Gosh poor you ... that glue can be sooooo messy! Thank goodness the camera was OK. But you know, you're way too hard on yourself. I love this card! The pastels are my colours, and I love the edging you did and the dragonfly you chose and everything really ... so you see, what's not 100% for you is 100% for me!
