I kept the main layout but tweeked the type and possition of the embellishments. I used paper flowers intead of gems.
I kept the colour of the ribbons but used spotty grosgrain instead of spotty organza and added a bow.
I also added a few extra layers of cardstock
As im new to stampin' up, i do not have the fabulous markers yet, so i had to make do with using the few ink pads i have and a blender pen to colour in the stamped image (in grey) from the Summer by the Sea stamp set.
I used the french letter background, stamped in chocolate chip on elegant eggplant cardstock.
Ive just discovered silicon glue and other than the smell (eeww!) i absolutely adore it and dont know how i ever survived without it. Gone are my days of horrible foam pads! woohoo!...... insidently it was used to attach the flowers, image and quote to the rest of the card.
Ive also just discovered paper flowers so no doubt they'll be on everything i make from now on, lol!
