I needed a thank you card for a friend who's gone out of her way to help with some stuff recently and I also like to say "thank you" to the hostess of the Crafty Secrets weekly challenge as she reaches the end of her month of challenges - so thank you Pammyjo!
This week's challenge is Stitched and Torn - why not check out the details and play along if you have Crafty Secrets or Heartwarming Vintage toys to play with?
Sentiment is computer generated (the font is Monika) and I watercoloured by squishing ink into the lid of my pads.
Supplies: Sew Special (Clear Art Stamps by Crafty Secrets), Paisley Backgrounder (CHF), Versafine Onyx Black, Adirondack ink Raisin and Cloudy Blue, Tim Holtz Vintage Photo, Antique Linen, Tattered Rose, ribbon (RAK from a friend), flower by Prima, Dewdrop (Golden Bells), sewing machine and thread, sponge

This is fantastic Joanne!!! Love your dp and of course the ladies!! Your stitching and tearing are perfect and I love the little flower accessory with your sentiment! All put together to make an exquisite thank you card!!! Nicely done!! P.s. Can't wait to see what you come up with next month when you host this fun challenge (Ethel says: Please be gentle!).
Love the lady in red! Great bkgd - with the torn edges and how you placed it almost reminds me of a stage curtain. That font is a great match - if you don't mind me asking what did you use? We are getting ready for vacation - ? internet access. Sorry I'll miss your first challenges. Hopefully I'll at least get to peak : ) Have fun!
