I purchased white baby t-shirts to stamp on and gave them away with the Zoofari card and toy monkey rattle. I got the idea from a demonstrator at my school. She made me onesies with farm animals on them. I just loved them. This was my 4th set.

Yes. I have tried it 2 ways not washing the t-shirts first and washing them first. I like the washing them prior to get the the fabric chemicals out of them before I start. Then I used craft black to apply my stamp image and let dry. Then I heat set it in the fabric so the black wouldn't run into the other colors. Then I colored the image in with the colors and heat set them as well. Put them together and volia its done. I used the Crayola fabric markers because I like them the best. I experimented with stamps and other fabric markers on a spare white t-shirt. Have fun and enjoy!
