This is my submission for CC177... Groovy Guava, Whisper White and Sahara Sand. I did not have any Sahara Sand so I used Craft.
I had just gotten this new stamp from Stampscapes and was dying to ink it up. I tried a Zindorf style but definitely need practice!!! I masked the sun and the horizon line with post it notes, brayered on Groovy Guava, then sponged on some rose red and a touch of blue bayou. I then masked the sky and did the water, then sponged in the sun with So Saffron and a little more rose red and groovy guava.
I stamped the images in Archival Black, used SU! markers to color in the cabin and windows and rocks.
I used my score pal to score a 1/4" score line around the craft layer, stamped the image then mounted the image on Bazzill Black Bling and adhered to the base.
I think in spite of the groovy guava I can use this as a masculine card, which is why I didn't used gg paper... I needed to keep it masculine. I KNOW I need practice on the scene technique, but this was my first try at it. Thanks for looking!

I'd say this is pretty professional for a first time! It is gorgeous...makes me want to try it but I know I could never accomplish this look. Great job!

This is so gorgeous! You made a beautiful scene - I love the reflection. Who knew that guava could make a masculine card? You made another fabulous card!
