Here's a pic. I'm going to organize them inside the compartments a bit better. The preliminary test was just to see if they all fit. The item is called Recollections Abigail Organizer. Sure beats the really expensive Copic one. It even has loads of other side pockets which I'm sure can hold a few images to color on the go, as well as all sorts of other accessories.

Sneaky Peek #6

Small Sentiments

Cat Packer Extraordinaire, Susan Liles, a while back asked for a series of small sentiments to use on Scrapbook pages and cards. So when another Cat Packer, Tracy Falco, (who is also pretty darn extraordinary herself, suggested word balloons for dies, I knew that the two were a match made in heaven.

So today, we are showcasing "Small Sayings". "Small Sayings" is part of our May Release available on May 21. You can use "Small Sayings" stamped by itself or with the "Talk to Me" CutUps. And like all of our dies, you can also use the dies with the stamps, or by themselves.

Now onto the cards.

Here is Susan Liles' uber trendy card. Not only is she using the "Small Sentiments" set, and "Talk to Me" CutUps, but also the third CutUps in our May Release, "Glasses". Remember the saying "Boys don't make passes at girls that wear glasses"? Well, I am glad to say that glasses are a serious fashion accessory now. This CutUps was fashioned after my very own pair of frosty pink glasses that I wore in the third to fifth grade.

Noelle McAdams has a great idea to make a simple, yet stunning Birthday card. LOVING all the bits of shinies! They really make the starburst from the "Small Sayings" set, and "Talk to Me" CutUps, sing! Can you say that five times fast?

And, speaking of stunning, how about this card by Cindy Major? She had paper that she had that made the perfect background and then created this little patch work cutie.

Want to see more? Check out Swanky Stamper, Emma Hubert! This card is what I was thinking of when I created this stamp set. And, also Julie Masse. She makes stamps from the "Talk to Me" CutUps dies and then spatters the ink she used on the card for a really bright and cheery card. So awesome!

When you finish at their blogs, head on over and leave a comment on our "In It To Win It!" Thread. You could win the "Small Sayings" stamp set just by leaving a comment.
I guess I can always just use an image of a cupcake or something, but thought it would be fun to keep with the theme.

Just my two cents - I think saving to sent should be the default. Not saving should be the option. Why wouldn't I want to save the messages I send to people? It's no different than email - and you have to choose not to save those by deleting them.

Thanks!

While I am thinking of it - I think it should be the same for comments on uploads. Notification should be the default.

Thanks again! :-)!

Now I'm having serious second thoughts. I mean, a shell is one thing; I can reconcile that - maybe the little critter using it had moved onward and upward before the shell was human-claimed. But a starfish? Now it just seems kinda creepy to me. After all, this thing was alive at one time. Is it right to embellish with it?

Your thoughts?

Many of you have probably read about or heard of Maddy Justice, who is now 15 yrs old. She is fighting Acute Myeloid Leukemia. In July of 2012 she underwent chemotherapy and a stem cell transplant. Three mos later she was on the road to recovery. Sadly, Maddy had a relapse in January 2013 and will be again undergoing the physical and emotional pain that she went through with the last treatment. Simon Says had a card drive for Maddy last July. They are again reaching out to all for cards for Maddy. To read more, here is the link to the Simon Says blog post:

Simon Says Stamp Blog!: Please Send A Smile to Maddy!

From there, you can link to the CaringBridge site and then go on to Maddy's journal under MaddyJustice. I'm sure as I have been, you will be touched by her story.

Thank you fellow SCers for having such BIG hearts and for SHARING the LOVE!
