I thought it would be fun to do a page showing past and present, then and now. I came across a few pictures of my darling daughter's where their poses where pretty much the same even though the photos were years apart. When looking through photos its so amazing to see the difference/ similarities of them.
My challenge to you is to do a layout showing then and now. Photos should show differences/similarities over the years.
then and NOW
I did this layout of my girls the from 1999 and 2009

Sooooo, I've NEVER played in a Splitcoast SCRAPBOOK challenge before. I knew I wanted to scrapbook these photos as another *decor piece* on that lonely dresser (which is fast becoming not-so-lonely!) and so I thought I'd try today's challenge out as it really fit my photos.
I know these photos weren't taken over a dramatic time span (like yeeeeears and yeeeeears) but they were all taken in the past two years at different MAJOR events.
*The top left was at Natalie's 5th birthday
*Top right at Christmas
*Bottom right on her first day of school
*Middle when we moved into our new house in a new state.
As I said, I know these photos have only been taken in the past two years...but when I think back to Natalie and I two years ago....
...we are so totally different! It really is a *Then* and *Now* moment for me.....
She and I are friends now, not just mother and daughter.
She's no longer a toddler, but a little girl.
And, it's just so sweet to look back.
And without further ado, here is mine!
(there are additional photos of closeups on my blog)

Here is my page...I realized after I attach the title that I did mine backwards (Now and Then). It still works. I went a little "overboard" with the color scheme - trying to use my stash, which explains the textured teal paper and the bright green army stickers.
There you go! TFL!

Was too busy yesterday to check out this week's Variety Challenge, so I'm just seeing it now. This is a great idea, Tami. I have just the pics for it! Love your page too!

You would not believe what I went through to find the baby picture for this layout. I knew I had to clean my craftroom. It literally took me from Wednesday afternoon til last night to clean it. Oiy... why do I do that. However I found the photo I was looking for. It was where it should have been. DUH!

I have really enjoyed all on the collage' LO's that Wendy and everyone has shared this month. This is my page for the today's Inspirational Color "purple" challenge.
Also I decided to use it for the "Then & Now" challenge. This is my Great-Great Grandpa's family. The single pictures are of their Wedding and then 50 years later at their anniversary party.
This layout sort of fits the theme even though the then and now aren't too far apart. Had to work at this digi page since I haven't really used an actual template yet. Quite an experience! Talk about TONS of layers to maneuver through!!! But it was fun and it didn't turn out too bad. It's amazing to see how much DGD changed in only 4 months time! Same little person...just getting cuter! May 2007 was her second B-day and it was in Sept 2007 that she really started to walk well on her own... TFL!

Here is probably the last page I'll get in for July. After losing the first attempt, I actually lost the 2nd too but I had learned my lesson and I was "saving" as I was going along this time! Whew!!! I am really poking around in PSE7 and am finding tons of cool items and effects. This page covers the same incident...only 3 years apart. The girls in DGS life are so going to adore him. He loves flowers and loves to give them to people. This year for kindergarten, we bought each of the teachers and all the aides their own bouquets that he picked out and gave to them. They loved it too! TFL!
