The weekend is not here yet, but Friday means it is coming soon! I hope you all are not enjoying our summer weather too much that you can't scrap.
Today we are going to use frames on our scrapbook creations. You can use acrylic frames like the one I used in my example, you can create your own out of four strips of paper, or if you want to be really exact you can cut a piece of cardstock larger than your photo and measure the center to cut out with a craft knife.
They are fun to decorate too! Use patterned paper and leave it blank, use paint it, glam it up, glue paper flowers, buttons, brads, etc. The possibilities are endless.
Hope you have fun with this! I can't wait see what you create!
The first thing dh said when he saw my page was "you really like orange, don't you?" I told him that I did like orange, but I really only have the one sponge painter. He doesn't really like orange, so his suggestion is that I get more of them! So there you go ladies, use an annoying color dh doesn't like and you are sure to get more stuff!

First of all, one question....SBTC?....Scrapbook Technique Challenge???..I am a newbie give me a break....anyhow great challenge!
it started out as ScrapBook Theme Challenge; has evolved into Scrapbook Tip/Technique/Theme Challenge - so it can be one or a combination of those for the challenge. and just so you know - we LOVE newbies around here!
Thanks for clearing that up for me....I have a cloth frame....and I think I have some more ...I will have to see what I can dig up....thanks for posting the challenge!
Perfect timing for this challenge. I was digging through a box the other day and found a mat from a frame and thought that I needed to use it. I have it laying out on the desk waiting for inpiration.

What a fun idea...I have several of these I'm hoarding...WHY!?!
I'm fairly new to scrapbooking, and I have never enter a challenge before, but I think this may qualify for this "Theme/Technique" challenge! I actually cut a frame using cardstock, then I used my punches around the frame to create the "dog theme", then I placed white cardstock behind it to make it pop! TFL!
Thanks for joining us, Renee! Awesome job with the frame and your avatar makes me smile!

Actually finished this page last weekend when I was in Myrtle Beach I had a photo mat from a picture frame that I covered with Cutie Pie paper to highlight our poor garden after all the August heat.
