Happy Wednesday everyone! I trust you've enjoyed the <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/blog/wp-admin/post.php?post=1986">Well Read WTG Hop</a>, and grabbed your new <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?search_in_description=1 &keywords=a+la+modes&x=0&y=0">a la modes</a> and <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=931">VIP collection</a>, and now are ready to STAMP!
With most schools either having started or starting VERY soon, it's time to HIT THE BOOKS! So that is this weeks Wednesday Stamp Club challenge.
I elected to create a bookmark for Emma. Her "homework" this year is to read for 30 minutes each night, and so I thought a big bookmark would be the perfect gift! I used the Wendy Upper Case Alpha from the VIP Kit, along with Framed Greetings, Flower Trio and the Jumbo Ric Rac <a href="http://www.mftstamps.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=58">Die-namics</a> dies to complete this project.

I combined my WSC Challnge project with my WTG Blog Hop & Shop this week. I just love the new WTG Well Read set! There is nothing that I like more than sitting back and reading a good book!

I am going to slip mine into Joely's lunch first day of school with a gift card in it! I really want her to do better this year so bribery always works...or a really cute card!

Yup...bribery is always good at our house. The little boy is just like his daddy...."money!" - that motivates him. We tried offering $20 if he just got a hit in baseball in the spring. He refused to swing!!! We're thinking he needs to wear his glasses but he won't do it for sports. Even the $20 didn't work!
Awww.... these samples are awesome!! Missed the cupcake.... did the sketch and never had time to take a pic (coming soon)... ordered my VIP today and absolutely am excited!! I am a "bookworm" to say the least!!!!

OK, I can do better than that! LOL My DS is SMART but STUPID... Make sense? LOL He just wouldn't hit the books and I tried to offer him $100 PER A.... even I woulda been a RICH STUDENT... he had a PE Class and you think he did better than a B? NOPE!!! I always had an extra PE class to pump up my GPA! LMAO

Hey ladies! I'm hoping to play along this week - my son needs all the encouragement he can get and my daughter starts kindergarten this year! Loving all the samples - just gorgeous!
LOL! I can NOT multi task THAT way... I'm pretty darn good at multi tasking but the brain with this has to F O C U S !!!!!!
I usually pick something I'm pretty sure is going to be sort of cheesy. Then I can sort of halfway pay attention. Every now & again I pick a good movie and end up watching it instead of stamping. And sometimes I just throw on some music instead of a movie. Either internet radio or my own music. Lately it's been a classical music station out of Chile. It's kinda funny listening to the commercials.
I usually pick something I'm pretty sure is going to be sort of cheesy. Then I can sort of halfway pay attention. Every now & again I pick a good movie and end up watching it instead of stamping. And sometimes I just throw on some music instead of a movie. Either internet radio or my own music. Lately it's been a classical music station out of Chile. It's kinda funny listening to the commercials.
I need to check on Satellite radio on the puter... I LIVE for it while driving... Gotta have my Hair nation... 80's Hair Bands ROCK!!!! LOL
