Hi everyone and welcome to the first Wednesday Stamp Club for 2010!
Cindy and I have returned after a short rest and will be bringing you a sketch challenge on the first Wednesday of each month. I hope you will be able to play along with us.
Now onto this week challenge which of course is a sketch challenge ... you will see on the sketch that I have used a star shape for the main image ... but please feel free to substitute the star for whatever shape works for you.
This week, the keyword is MFTWSC010610, and you have until Tuesday, January 12th to upload your creation for a chance to win!

Yipee!! So nice to see the sketch challenge back - and once a month seems perfect!! I also love that it's part of Wed. stamp club. Awesome sketch - can't wait to get started!!

So I have to share, I don't know what is up with all the horrible people and police being killed lately but there was a female police officer killed just a little ways north of where my parents are early yesterday morning. The men who shot her were caught about an hour ago in the town where my parents live hiding in a shed. It is so scary how close it is, you always think it happens in large city's not small ones.
And now onto happier news, it is release day and I am LOVING the calendar set, I have only seen 2 peeks but I know I have to have it. Joanne and Christina you both have me sold!!

The men who shot her were caught about an hour ago in the town where my parents live hiding in a shed. It is so scary how close it is, you always think it happens in large city's not small ones.
Oh good Heaven!!!! My personal take on the Cop Killings on OUR side of the states is the Justice System/Mental Health System!!!! The two do NOT go hand in hand yet, it's easier to throw the "crazy" in jail then of course not competent to stand trial and charges are dismissed and they walk... THEN of course there is the sentencing guidlines, lack of accountability on the Dept of Corrections with their parolees etc...
OK, NOT getting started.... OK, did but am DONE!!!!

Over in Illinois where I am we put the crazies behind bars, then they get out early on parole and kill someone else, making one wonder why they got paroled in the first place.

Well, the sketch SCREAMED to me and here I sit STILL in jammies but DONE with the sketch!!!! Now that it won't be haunting me while I clean let me get it loaded for you to see so I can wash a few necessary items!!!!

That stinks!! I think they kill in cold blood once and then they should not ever see the light of day again, no matter what!!

That is so horrible. I hate hearing things like this. And it seems to be happening more frequently too. Not good.
