NO WAY!!! You are probably one of those STINGY cooks that scrapes every last drop outta the bowls and wont let people lick the beaters!
LOL!! HOw does one get away with that??? Inquiring minds want to know. My DH would never let that happen here. Sometimes he doesn't want to lick the spoon/bowl/beaters, but I ALWAYS ask!! Cause if I don't, all heck breaks loose.

Haha, I'm a scraper but you can swipe a fingerfull from the bowl and I'll let you have the beaters and spatula but I use that spatula to get every ounce out of the bowl. Nothing I do makes sense.

Bonnie~ You can go in front of Jenni's DH AFTER me....
I hope with all the new stamping demands you are still able to enjoy the girls being home!!!!! THAT is the most important part of all!!!!!!
Thanks! I am very excited about the new demands but I will admit that the Dirty Dozen this month took a whole weekend when I should have been shopping. But everyone is pitching in so its all good.
Kayley and I shopped yesterday and she did a lot of wrapping today. Lisa will be home tomorrow and I am only working one day this week. I hope to finish my shopping tomorrow. I am not usually still shopping this close to Christmas, but between my business trip and being sick, it is not my best year.
So how is it having your son home? Do you think he has changed? I know my girls had to adjust to being home, having us ask them where they are going, and yes could they still empty the dishwasher before they left!!

LOL!!! He is actually BETTER at helping, he was always good but he jumps right in and does things without being asked. He is still asking if he can go somewhere though! LOL I told him, your money that I just gave you has to last until next months installment... or until you get a job whichever comes first, you are 18 make a decision... LOL
He has been good, misses his College friends and is always on Facebook and texting, I guess they all wanna go bck to school just not HAVE school! LOL
I am SO glad you are all better and have your girls home again!!! It's AWESOME to see them isn't it? I LOVE having my family all together, even though I am working normal hours but.. SOMEONE has to give Bub money! LOL

Kelli, tell that grouchy DH of yours to get his head out of his arse and be THANKFUL you did all of the running around for crying out loud. Geez. My disabled DH can't put the tree together and feels like he lets the family down because the kids had to do it since I was working. At least he put the ornaments on it today while I was working on prezzies.
You know Kelli, I've seen in the stores a lump of coal candy being sold. Give that to him. It might get the message across. I did that to my DD one year when she was just being horrible leading up to Christmas and she was just flat out saying there was NO WAY Santa or anyone else would have the guts to give her coal. Guess what she got? Her real present was in our bedroom, but opening the coal under the tree and in the stocking sure was an eye opener for her.

YES! We have the same conversations about money and they are glued to their phones!
But isn't really the holidays for me until they are home. And I know they feel the same way! I think your kids appreciate you more as they get older.

You have to wash your hands first and I'd swipe at you but yeah, you can take a handful. When I was a kid my mother had to double the recipe if she made cookies when any of us were home. We loved eating batter.

My mother's buddy gave her twin boys coal one year. They were two wild boys. She didn't have a "real" present for them.
Morning folks. Sure wish I was on vacation this week. Have you seen the home page to the MFT store? I always forget about the reindeer pulling the bathtub. That's still totally cute Kim.

Morning Girls, I saw the reindeer and the bathtub last night. I always love that picture!

It's all out war in my house when baking is going on. If it's cookies there is a fight over eating the dough (I have to smack DH with the spoon to keep him away!), and if it's brownies, the bowl is all his, after I get as much batter out of the bowl first.
KJ--how's the tree going? We had a blow out at my house putting up the tree this year too. Too tall, and way too wide. We can't watch the TV from the couch because the tree blocks it. Whoops.
Chris--how much snow did you guys end up with in Jersey...I have a friend in NY who said that it was awful out there (awful=bad for him because he's coming home in a few days and is hoping that the planes start flying again)...and your comment about cookie dough reminds me of the time when I was little my grandma and I were baking chocolate chip cookies while my grandpa was at work (he worked nights). He came home and was all upset there were no cookies waiting for him....my grandma and I ate the entire bowl of cookie dough
Melody--your DD projects are just beautiful!
And, without further delay, here is DH's birthday card...complete with popped up head.

I'd say by me it's about 6 to 8 inches. Down the shore I heard they got 2 feet. At least when it hits on the weekend it's not so crazy. It's the getting the kids to school and people to work on time that complicates the snow issue here.

I've been in the stamp room ALL day!! Almost. I finished up a calendar that I had to make for my grandma. I make her one each year. It'll be late for Christmas, but she won't mind. As long as it's there by the new year. I'm glad I got it out of the way. It's almost time for the next release!!
