My sympathies. I just got over a sinus infection/dental abcess. I don't which came first but it really had me knocked out. I got one of those z packs Rx and finally got the bugs out of my system but before that I'd get home and didn't have the energy to sit at my stamping desk. I hope your girls are a big help cause this close to the holiday you're gonna need it, didn't you say you're having 20 something people over.

We have Walmart. I don't think I have any spandex and I usually don't apply my makeup with a spatula, but you never know- last year I couldn't find my regular hair color and the one I used to replace it - well picture Bozo. It was bad, very, very bad.
Good! No spandex! You don't apply your makeup w/ a spatula? Or let a 3 yr. old put it on for you?!
Hahaha, red hair! Love it! I had a college roommate that dyed her hair red, and it turned out like Ronald McDonald. Which of course was my nickname for her, behind her back! LOL!

It really is about the people. I try not to pay attention to things not being perfect at other people's houses cause Lord knows mine is a wreck and I entertain with it that way because if I didn't I'd never have anyone over.
Everyone's different but don't be surprised if you still feel wasted till you finish them, I was still tired till I finished with them, still blowing my nose but feeling better by the third day, if that makes sense.

We have a visitor in our office this morning. Alina got her kids a puppy for Christmas and she's throwing a shower for it, in my office we are always looking for an excuse to put out food. Oddly, my boss didn't blink an eye when she gave her an invitation yesterday. The puppy is here, and it is adorable.

We have a visitor in our office this morning. Alina got her kids a puppy for Christmas and she's throwing a shower for it, in my office we are always looking for an excuse to put out food. Oddly, my boss didn't blink an eye when she gave her an invitation yesterday. The puppy is here, and it is adorable.
I would have taken a pic by my camera's battery is dead. Alina made invites yesterday (she is out of her mind) with a pic of the puppy on front. He looks like a little coconut snowball. Very cute and fluffy, probably weighs about 3pounds and is a little bigger than a handful.
Puppy left an hour or so ago. So much for fun and games. He got some really cute presents. Rod got him a punk rock looking sweatshirt that said "Stud Muffin".

TOO funny....this time of year we have TONS of food at work, we have an elderly apartment complex that I think has a bake off... the break room table is COVERED in boxes and boxes of cookies for a week.... it's TOTALLY awesome cuz they are Gramma's and we all know, NO ONE bakes like Gramma!!!!
I am hoping to take some pics of projects I have completed, why is it easier to stamp a project than it is to pic and post it????

I hear ya! For me this time of year I only have actual daylight from about 9:30am til about 4:30pm. Good lighting time is reduced to about 11:00m - 3:00pm! I always seem to be doing something else when the lighting is good! I don't know what it is that I'm doing but I always seem to be busy! lol
OK, so we have Megan, Julie and now TWO MORE to be named at the release hop????

Okay, I have to get off SCS and go to the dreaded post office! Grrrr, I hate the post office this time of year! The good news is that I'm picking up all stamping packages! I purchased a load of the Martha Stewart Border punches from one company and then a bunch of adhesive from another company! I really hate to run out of adhesive and I plan on stamping lots in the next few weeks!

LOL We are in the middle of a Chinook right now! I live about an hour from the Rocky Mountains. During the winter we get this weather thing called a Chinook. The warm temperatures come in and melt all the snow. It is just wonderful! We are one of the only places that gets it!!! All week last week we were at -30 (-22 for you girls), then yesterday we went up to 6 (43 for you Americans). Nothing like a massive swing in the temperature! I do love my Chinooks, but man do I get a headache when they come in!

you know you ladies do protest too much as the saying kinda goes
for my part I'll just say - from your lips to god's ears. I had my stint as guest DT and that was more fun than I could believe but no, it's not me, besides I'm not Canadian but if relocating to the North is what it takes I would reconsider my aversion to snow.
