It's week 59 of our WSC Getting Sketchy. We have another fabulous sketch for you this week!
We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.
Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.
Have you missed any sketches along the way? Print out all the sketches HERE
Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC59 for a chance to win this week prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, February 21st to play along.
Hey Ladies!! SO excited to be here with you all!! heheeh! Here's my take on this month's sketch. I needed a birthday card for a friends hubby so I kept it very masculine and earthy!
Hope you enjoy! All of the samples are AMAZING!! SWOON!!

I think I need therapy. I wasn't satisfied with my purrfect card. Sick, or what!!? SO. I pulled out my scrap bin and started fiddling with die-namics. I created the rectangle layers by partially cutting vertical greetings, textile label, and sweet stack dies. I used the layered labels for the top rectangle. Top that off with the musical note die-namic!
After going round and round during the last release about which flower die to get, I finally ended up with the Flower and Leaf Trio, and I LOVE it. Of course, I had to pull it out to use on my card today! : )

Hope you took Jody's example to heart and got mulitple dies!! She says you can't have just one, you MUST have at least two, maybe even 3!!!!

LOL! I certainly agree, but unfortunately my pocketbook doesn't. I'm thrilled to have one -- and I think I'll be using it on next to every card I make for awhile!!

I totally understand!! My wish list is HUGE!!! I just keep whittling away at it. Looking forward to your future flower cards!!!
Someone commented on my card entry (HERE) that there is a rule that two die-namics must be used - Is this rule posted somewhere else? I usually check the sketch here in the thread.
Guess I am confused, I thought this was just a sketch challenge. I don't have the biggest die-namic collection (although I love the ones I have) so it's often hard to get a combination of dies that works on every sketch.

No LJ! I think it was just Jenni making a comment in regards to Jody saying you should own more than one of some dies as it's easier to make more with just one crank of the handle (or push of the button).... It IS a sketch challenge and your card is GORGEOUS!

I think she was just joking. LOL I like to buy duplicates of dies and since you were mentioning you wanted to buy a die, I think she was saying to buy 2. LOL I buy 2 of some dies so I can cut a bunch at once.
It's just for fun, it's just a sketch challenge, and you don't have to use ANY dies on your cards if you don't want to.
