It's week 57 of our WSC Getting Sketchy. We have another fabulous sketch for you this week!
We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.
Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.
Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC57 for a chance to win this week prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, January 10th to play along.
I wasn't sure about this sketch at first, but I flipped it and I flipped FOR it, LOL! I'm using More Essential Sentiments. Love the larger font in this set.
here's mine....I used the By the Letters Die-namics and added the HB sentiment from By the Numbers stamp set to a Mix & Match Banner Die-namics.....my FIL's birthday was Sunday and I tucked this one in his gift bag.
I admit, I struggled with this sketch....but I'm glad I stuck with it. I really like how it turned out.
Those angles scared me a bit too, but I pushed through and then covered them up (ugh!) with my focal panel! Here is mine using the sweet a la modes in Picture Perfect!

What?? no way, you stuggled with that!! Great Dad card!!
How about a little fun WSC triva! A number of you have mentioned that you were going to try to do all 52 MFTWSC sketches. Any guesses on how many of you have completed the first four weeks so far?
I am thrilled to say that 38 of you have completed all four of the first sketches of 2012. I will be looking forward to seeing how many of you can keep this up for the rest of the year!

I'm in. God willing! This week was hard, though. The twisted panels were a bit of a challenge, but worse was the purpose of this card. Hard to make sympathy cards. I tried to make another card after uploading this one for medicine... It has a chocolate theme, and a get well card. Maybe I'll upload it tomorrow before sending it.
