Default WSC Getting Sketchy #53

Happy New Year everyone,

It's week 53 of our WSC Getting Sketchy. We have another fabulous sketch for you this week!

We encourage you all to play along, and to enter your card in the weekly draw for a $15 gift voucher to the MFT Boutique. Simply follow the sketch and create a card or other paper creation. You may use any stamps and supplies that you wish. Each week, a keyword is assigned to the sketch. All you need to do to enter, is upload your card to the gallery at SCS, and enter the given keyword in the keyword box, during the upload process. After the deadline, we randomly choose a winner from that week's entries and the winner will receive a $15 gift voucher. If the winning card uses MFT stamps, the participant will earn a $5 bonus, for a total of a $20 gift voucher! That is up to $100 per month in prizes, JUST for playing along. We hope you'll join us in 2012.

Check out the FAQ - Wednesday Stamp Club thread if you need any further info on this challenge or help on how to upload your card to the gallery.

Upload your creation to SCS using keyword MFTWSC53 for a chance to win this week prize (see above). You have until noon Tuesday, January 10th to play along.

See all the entries for this week's WSC HERE

The winner of last week's challenge is Simply Handmade
You can see her entry HERE!

I'm thinking Valentine's Day so I used hearts instead of the circles and inked up PI - I Love You This Big.

KJ, did you see American Idol last season? Scotty McCreery, the winner, sang and then released a song by that title. I predicted it would be the number one song played at weddings by this year. It is a sweet sentiment!

I am ON STRIKE until the PO lets go of my MFT package and my new stuff arrives!!! My dd goes to school in FL and it takes 3 days to get a package to her. Today was the 6th mail day (not even including the holiday) since it was mailed. I WANT MY PACKAGE! Waaaaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!!! (Rant over! LOL!!! But I am going to wait a day or two to do the sketch to see if it arrives!)

Hope your parcel arrives soon Tricia, I feel your pain as I normally have to wait much longer than that for mine to arrive seeing I have to rely on two postal systems.

Doesn't it just KILL you? Especially when you KNOW that it is coming and you run to the mailbox and nothing! Plus I've been working on the older MFT sketches and right now I only have 4 sets. I think I've made 15 cards with those 4 sets now! But I certainly have gotten my money out of them! LOL!!!

Oh, you're kidding! Grrr.... I always dread shipping things over the holidays for my business. The PO does a great job, but the few that have gone missing or had damage have always been in transit over a holiday.

That is horrible Kelli. My hubby sold my son's Wii on Ebay right before Christmas and it ended up with a huge hole in it all taped us as well. The main game console was missing and we had to pay the buyer $75 to replace it...even though it was the mail's fault.

Yes it sure does, I think my family are always relieved when it finally arrives cause I stop complaining when the postie comes and goes without leaving what I am after LOL. My last parcel took forever to get here due to all the Christmas post. But I can't complain too much cause I know Canada also has issues with post and they are much closer then I am!

Don't forget if any of you entered in any of the WSC sketch challenges last year ... that is sketches 1 to 52 ... then go register on the MFT Wednesday Stamp Club Sketch Challenge - End of Year PARTY! REGISTER HERE! thread.

You have a chance to win prizes and it doesn't matter whether you just played in one or all 52 sketches you have a chance to win, if you register on that thread.

I'm waiting on THREE mft packages! One was ordered just last night, but the other two-- Well, I've not waited that long before. Most of the time, the orders are filled in a very timely fashion. Maybe the combination of holidays and eoy sale slowed things down.
