Default Wednesday Stamp Club - Cooking Up Some Love

It has been amazing to see so many of you playing along lately in our Wednesday Stamp Club challenges. Fabulous work everyone!

So, what do you say --- will you all be playing along again this week? That would be amazing!

So, our newest challenge is "Cooking Up Some Love" - and we have so many stamps that will work for a cooking, kitchen, food type theme. I can't wait to see how you'll be inspired.

All you need to do to participate is to upload your creation to the Splitcoast Stampers Gallery using this keyword: MFTWSC11102010 - and one lucky winner will be selected at random next week to win a $15 gift card to the MFT Boutique!

To get you all warmed up for the challenge, we've got members of both our Design Team and our Challenge Team playing along today..... I'm sure they'll be stopping by to upload their samples!

MFT has so many fabulous "cooking" sets to choose from! I decided to go with the Flapper Doodles set, Flappers in the kitchen.

Fun examples, as always! I'm in the same boat as Eva. Nothing cooking related here either so I'll be sitting this one out.

Julie! That's so cute. I would never have thought to get rid of one of the girls!
Cindy, that little book is too cute. With you and Jody and those books, I'm going to have to get a Cinch....

My stamp table is a WRECK. I can't find my Cooking a la mode. That's my cooking challenge for today. Sigh....

I don't have much in the way of cooking stamps, either. I used Sweet as Pie Flopsey for the last challenge! Thought I could stretch it with the yummy cupcake from It's a Cupcake Kind of Day. Can we pretend I baked it?? LOL

Thanks for Being So Sweet

Default Best card ever!

I had to share the card I received yesterday from my almost 11 y.o. niece. She likes to come over & play with my stampy stuff and I've given her a little "starter set" of things: brown & black ink, scissors, paper trimmer, cut & pre-folded card blanks, etc. I also will buy her a cute MFT set every now & then, especially when Kim runs a great deal. (She loves Flopsey!)

So yesterday I found this in my mailbox. Is it not the most awesome card? If you can't tell, I'm just tickled to death that she put this card together for me. I love this kid!

Tee hee! That's so sweet!! I love the comment about the music stand working better than grandpa's stomach! I have an almost 6-year old son, and he crafts with me sometimes, too. He loves making cards for grammy and grampa.

Mine is done. I have to wait to upload until we figure out what's wrong with the main computer monitor. I think I need a new monitor. Geek Squad - here we come.

So pretty! Love the bow. Is that little cupcake in that set? It's like a mini version of one of the two in the It's a Cupcake Kind of Day. I looked at your blog b/c I wondered what you did to make it tiny...and I was thinking I may be able to get that effect with Shrinky Dinks! I'm so envisioning some cupcake charms now....have to see what I can come up with....LOL

For you ladies that don't have any of the cooking stamps don't give up yet!!! Any food related stamps would work, think cupcakes, fruit anything like that.

The oven mitt is a Doodlebug Designs brad. Doodlebug has a whole new line of cooking related papers and embellishments.

Thanks everyone for the sweet comments about my niece's card. She really is the neatest, sweetest kid. (And yes, before I got her the music stand she really was propping her music up on her grandpa's belly.) I don't have any stampy friends nearby, so she's my MFT Junkie-in-training!

I've got to find some stampy time this weekend. I have things I need to get done!

Tomorrow morning I'm my oldest (21) niece & I are going to a local craft mart which seems like it should be full of unique & oddball crafts. I'm hoping to find some awesome weird Christmas gifts there. And tomorrow night I have a birthday party to go to.

I wish I could call off work to stamp! But I've got vacation time coming up in a few weeks & pretty much need to be here every day to have a hope of getting things done in time.
