Julia asked me to fill in for her today. She asked me to pick out something that has been done and do a repeat. I think vellum can bring an elegance to cards (now, if I could only do that!) Please refer to WT03 for samples - there are tons there since this was one of the first Ways to Use it Challenges.
Im posting one I did some time ago, but you will find more in the WT03 gallery. Patriotic Card
Please remember to put WT70 in your keywords section and post a link back here. Please do not post your gallery; just your card. All are very welcome and encouraged to play along and enjoy the fun. Remember this is not a race or contest...just a great way to stretch your creativity and inspire yourself and others. (as quoted from Julia)
Have fun stamping!!! Hope you like what I chose!
Vicky

I can't play today as we headed up to Jacksonville (boo hoo), but here's one in my gallery that I did many months ago, it was the very first card I uploaded. I was inspired by Princess Ink's beautiful creations. I also did one a couple of weeks ago that has a vellum envelope. Thanks for a wonderful challenge Vicky and for posting early.
thanks Vicky for filling in...my secret sis told me about a great new technique she learned at convention using vellum, maybe I can try it out with her instructions she sent and see what happens!

I'll play later today (I home from work with strep throat), but here is one from my gallery. I printed the words on vellum and attached to the patterned paper with vellum glue.

Thanks for the challenge Vicky. I can't believe you can't bring elegance to a card with vellum....no way, no how. Your sample is proof of that! LOL Got a dr. appt. Will play after that.

Thanks for posting the challenge Vicky! I'm just checking in at the library while on vacation...sounds like a fun challenge. I always love vellum but usually forget about using it!
oh....I've used vellum in scrapbooking but never on a card yet so here we go....first I have to round up some vellum......thanks Vicky for sub-hosting....
I have always loved using vellum, but I too forget about it until I see someone post a beautiful card. Thanks Vicky for this wonderful challenge. Thanks for looking. Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Here is one from my gallery. I am getting ready for a New Catty Introduction workshop tonight, so I won't have time to play. I really like this card though... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
Stamped right on the vellum

Lots of stamps from different companies and one SU retired stamp, Pindot plaid. Bet you can't find it either cause it didn't show up well in the scan LOL!
I did this just a few weeks back for another challenge and I liked the way it came out.
I don't use Vellum as much as I would like, but every time I use it I say to myself "You should use more vellum" Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
well, I was hoping to post a really cool card using the new technique my SS told me about, but it just wasn't working...can't wait to get the card she made me with it so I can see exactly what it looks like...soooo I did this one instead. Just simple stamping on vellum, but I love the look...very fun & retro!
Thanks Vickie for hosting today. I love the look of vellum, but rarely use it to its best advantage. Hate to say it but you were my inspiration today too--I opened your samples and found the answer to a personal need. Next week's hostess requested a guy card using Lovely As a Tree, so I revamped your candle boat into a card, A few small changes in color, a punched circle for the moon, and a little embellishment--Viola--
