Hello all! Time for another Ways to Use It Challenge! This week we are going to use flowers to plant a garden in the gallery…after all...April showers bring May flowers. But there is a catch…no patterned paper for the background of your card. You may use DP for accents only. Create your own stamped floral background and let those flowers bloom in the gallery today!
Before you get started, let me introduce our newest "Ways to Use It" hostess. Please welcome Carla Fink, a.k.a Covington Crafter here on SCS, to our design team. Be sure to give her lots of love today!
After you upload your card with the keyword WT585, come back and share a link here - that makes it easy for people to find your card.

If you're not sure how to add a link, here's how:
1. Open 2 windows or tabs: one for your card in the gallery, and one for this thread
2. In this thread, click on reply and type anything you want to show before the link.
3. Go to your card window. Highlight the address for your card. (It says www. splitcoaststampers.com/gallery/showphoto..... and so on)
4. Click EDIT. Click COPY
5. Go back to this thread. Click PASTE.

I hope I understood your challenge correctly....that we were to create more of a floral bg than just a floral focal point. Either way....I have flowers. : ) Thanks.

Cathy- great challenge, thanks! used a "new to me" stamp from PSX for my central image- did some fussy cutting, kept it simple. Inspired by the blooming flowers in the garden. Here's a rose for you

I thought I'd practice my watercoloring. More practice needed - and probably a different brush. But it was fun to make and the clear embossing makes a shiny image. I don't think you can see that in the photo though.
