I am hoping that everyone had a safe and sane Fourth of July (here in the U.S.)! I know that my family did. Independence Day, when I was a kid, meant Family, Fun and Fireworks. Now that I am an adult, I can add another word to that list. I will add Freedom.
Even though my grandfather fought in WWII, I knew very little about our service men and women. It was just something he preferred not to talk about. As an adult, I have had the privilege to meet and be inspired by many service members. One in particular is my daughter's Day Care Dad. Each year, when he is home, he marches in the parade. Two years ago, I was moved to tears as I watched him in our little hometown parade. Of course, I didn't have a tissue and had to dry my eyes on my sleeve!
In honor of our Day Care Dad, who is presently in Afghanistan, and all other service men and women, let's grab a tissue.
Today's challenge is to use tissue paper on your project! I am thinking of tissue flowers, the faux silk technique, pleated tissue and faux washi tape. I'm sure there are many, many other uses for tissue paper and I dare you to show me!
Remember to use the keyword, WT382, when uploading your card so we can all see your creation. It helps if you link it up back here too. You can view the entire gallery for this challenge HERE.

Use Tissue
Neat challenge Toni! I just came across some squares of tissues that I intended to use months ago but didn't. I hope I can participate in your challenge and use them today! I'm gonna check out the faux washi tape, too.
