Default WT31 Come Play along - Ways to Use it Challenge

Wow...can't believe it's Thursday again and time for another challenge. This week's challenge is inspired by the envelope maker that I, once again, just HAD to have and have only used twice! (My demo loves me and all my purchases) This week your challenge is to use ENVELOPES in your work. You can use envelopes for so many things in card and scrapbook making. Make a tiny envelope and put it on a card, decorate a plain envelope to match a card and take a pic of them both together, make a bagalope, make a gift card envelope "thingie" for the upcoming holiday or come up with another idea and surprise us! We are all looking for new ways to use things and that is what this challenge is about. Please also feel free to post as many times as you like, for as long as you like...no time limit!

Please remember to put WT31 in your keywords section and post a link back here so that we can all see your work. If you can't upload, you can still play along and post a pic as an attachment to this thread. PM me if you need instructions.

Happy stamping,
Julia

PS Next week I may be away as my mom is starting interferon treatments the next week and we are trying to get away to the cottage for some time before that starts. If you feel like posting the challenge next Thursday, pm me and it is all yours.

Oo oo -- I just had to have the small envelope template and have yet to use it. I will do so for this challenge! Thank you!

Same here -- got that darn mini envelope template almost a year ago and haven't even used it yet! Great challenge, Julia -- I'll drag it out and play!

Default My Ways To Use It Ideas

HERE is something I learned nearly 2 years ago - which is FANTASTIC! Legal envelopes.....

THIS is an invitation envelope, folded in half, stamped and adhered to CS. Holds a gift card or money.

BAGALOPE (being loaded into the gallery) - which can be turned into a mini NIB (which is also being loaded)....

Oooh!, I've had these mini-envelopes I got from a craftstore like Last year and haven't even opened them. This is my chance!

Great challenge! I've only used mine once... on a scrapbook page. I'll try to find time this weekend. This will be fun!

Mine card is the second style in Beth's post. I got the idea from a couple demo cards that I'm redoing for the charities; one is mounted on a card and closes with Velcro and the other isn't mounted and has a ribbon tied around it. I chose to close my envelope with a circle clip. Now you have some more ideas to work with.

All of Beth's cards were great ideas!
Julia this is a great challenge that gets us thinking.

Here's my card

This is a fun challenge. I've never used envelopes before and I had to design my own. It's very basic but at least you can tell it's an envy.

Here's my card:

Well that was fun . . . I'll definitely be using my mini envelope template more often, thanks Julia! Here's my WT31 card.

Here's mine. I tried something different by making a maibox for my envelope to be popping out of. It's kind of cute.

Here's a layout with a mini vellum envelope. Inside the envelope is my journalling.
