It's Remembrance Day here in Canada and Veteran's Day in the USA. Many are observing this special day and setting some time aside to remember. Lest we forget. To those who serve and to their families, a heartfelt thank you.
Today I'd like to challenge you to remember and to create a card for this occasion. It can be a thank you, a sympathy card or anything military themed. Both countries have a cards for troops program and today would also be a great day to share some cards you have on hand with those serving who can use them to stay in touch with their loved ones.
Please remember to put WT296 in your keywords section and post a link back here. We'd all love to see your newly uploaded creations.
What a beautiful challenge Julia! I hope I get to play later - I am actually able to enjoy the day with my Active Duty hubby who is home this year and amazingly has the day off today (though he has to work both days this weekend).
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. ~Leo Buscaglia
