WT270 - Edge Distresser (05/13/10)
It's been a long, long, time since we've had this challenge and I thought it would be a fun and easy one to try again. Do you have an edge distresser? I love mine as it's fabulous for adding texture and interest to a simple piece of paper. What a great tool! I'd love to see how you use yours so please play along with today's Ways to Use It Edge Distresser challenge. No edge distresser? No worries. You can (carefully!) use a pair of open scissors or just distress the edge with your fingernail. Have fun with it!
Please remember to put WT270 in your keywords section and post a link back here. We'd all love to see your work! Please link only newly uploaded creations for this challenge. Thanks!

Love distressing. Thanks, Julia!! You can also (carefully) use the middle part of a seam ripper to distress

Oh, fun. It has been a really long time since I've done this. Maybe I can find time to play this afternoon after my class. Thanks, Julia.

I had this card somewhat set up and ready to go but just needed to finish the edges off and slap it all together. To me distressed edges always seem to suit masculine cards.

Is there such a thing as a card without distressing!! Right up my alley. Thanks so much.

Well this will be easy - even with fingernails which I use half the time, my distresser lives on my desk

Thanks for this challenge Julia. I love the look of distressed edges. I don't have a distresser so I used my nails. I think it turned out okay but will put a distresser on my wish list.

Fun challenge, Julia! Not too much of a stretch for me since this is a tool that I always have near-at-hand. I love the effect it gives when sometimes you need "just a little more". Thanks!

I love my paper distress tool. I use it all the time. The challenge was perfect. I was stuck on how to finish a card. This helped!
