Great challenge -- and I just uploaded a card a few minutes ago -- without knowing the challenge -- but I used a colored pencil to draw the vein lines into a leaf -- rather lame -- I know -- but I figure it fits -- LOL!!! Thanks!!! Here it is:
Ummmmm...Judy...how on earth did you get your post in before me!?!?!?!? lol ;)
LOL I was wondering that too!!
Sounds good - I just had my pencils out last night and put them back on the shelf - so better get them out again .
Hard to think of a new way to use them, though, mine are just standard watercolour...
Thanks, Julia.

I bought 48 Prisma pencils a while back but they still haven't been sharpened! Maybe I should get after it!

Man, that Judy's fast! She even beat Julia! Great challenge - sometimes we move on to different mediums and forget the old. Good push in the right direction, Julia!

wonderful challenge as I frequently use my pencils. Too bad I did not know the other day this was the challenge as I uploaded one on Tuesday. Here is one for today though- simple layout on this one. Hope to be back with more later.
This sounds like fun. I love coloring! I hope I'm able to participate later today after I figure out what Gamsol is because it sure does seem to be popular! Have a great day everybody.
Well, it's a bit lateral but I did use my coloured pencils :-).
En route to making my Sharply Dressed Peacock , I discovered that I can blend my regular, non watercolour, colouring pencils with mineral spirits; but since I've never tried before, my first attempt is not worth showing, a couple of smudges in the wrong places. But it's new to me that I could use those pencils.
