This was so fun!! Just got an order yesterday with the Four Seasons DP and I hadn't even mounted my Windows on the World set yet. Well at least the window image is mounted now! Oh and I got to use my new ribbon I just got yesterday too! Woohoo!
Here's my card: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I am leaving town today and won't be able to make a card much less even visit SCS until probably Monday. YIKES! I made this card with a window in a previous challenge and since I won't be able to participate, I thought I would use it here today again. A little bit cheating!!!
Newbie on Thursdays challenge even though I did not have much time to play today. I put together something simple. Nothing fancy, just a cute quick card.
Okay, gonna participate but have to leave for about 4 hours so when I get home I am gonna case a card I saw in here, it was brilliant!.....back and changed my mind and did something different, thanks for peeking!
This is my 1st shaker card...It was easier than I thought it would be. Now I am getting some ideas to use as shakers. I may get to do one more before bed. Here is mine...TFL: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I am so happy that I was able to participate in this challenge today. Punches are one of my fav items to use. They just add that extra that sometimes cards / scrappages need. Here is my card for the challenge.
I had to double up my challenge for this one, but I really like how it turned out. My image panel is mounted between two pieces of acetate to look like it is floating in the window. I also put a piece of white card stock on the back of it so the inside is nice and clean...
do you thin the colors are too wimpy? My sister says I am often too bright, so I tried to tone things down...... Gallery at Splitcoaststampers thanks for looking!
I didn't make this card for the challenge. In fact, I made it quite some time ago. But it still fits so I thought I'd post it. I willtry to actually make on for the challenge this weekend. Here is my wish big trifold:
Thanks for another great challenge, Julia. I used a template that I had forgotton about but works great for those lumpy embellishments and especially for quilled work. You can put a piece of corrugated cardboard on either side of the window (inside the card) and it helps to keep it from being smashed. The template is in my gallery. Recessed Window Card

Finally got my card uploaded! Here is the OUTSIDE of the card. This is the INSIDE
I couldn't get the upload page to let me fill in the details so I will try to edit it later. But I used reinkers mostly and a little bit of the SU markers.

I'm hoping to do another card for the challenge this weekend, but hadn't seen one of these in the challenge posts and I wanted to include it for the sake of variety.
My window card that I really, really like :-) We did a window card at our hostess club party last saturday, so I used that idea and made a rectangular window while it was fresh in my mind. Thanks Julia for the push....enjoy, Nancy
